TAKE A LESSON IN JUSTICE FROM PLAN-B
(excerpt)
March 18, 1996, Nancy Melich, The Salt Lake Tribune

Tobin Atkinson has achieved something enviable. He has written a very funny play, without music, that parodies Utah—more specifically, the absurdity of some of Utah's laws.

Too bad Modern Justice was not around when the Legislature was in session. It should be required for Utah residents before they are allowed to vote.

An exasperated professor throws in the towel after one-too-many politically correct complaints from his students. A kindly patient is told repeatedly by his doctor that he cannot make decisions concerning his own body. In frustration, he finds a way to abort the organism living inside him.

This unencumbered evening of theater is one playwright's opinion on what's wrong with the world, or at least one corner of it. With all the talk about what should and should not be allowed in the classroom, give Professor Fair a listen.
